My name is Alyson Almonte and I was born and raised in South Dennis, on the cape. I'm 20 years old and looking to pursue my ambition of becoming a writer. I write a lot of poetry of various subjects. I've written over four hundred poems and I continue to write. My uncle is an editor for a golf magazine, so I guess you could say it's in the genes!!! He's one of the few inspirations I have in my life.
I'm very dedicated to my family. I live with my mom and brother, whom I have great relationships with. I work in a music store, therefore I enjoy music. Another interest of mine is arts and crafts. I've become engaged in making jewelry such as earrings and necklaces.
Well, there you have it, this is a description of who I am and where I want to go in my life. I only hope is that this course is a stepping stone, leading me to my success of becoming a writer.
